Stripe Link wallet

Stripe Link is a personal payment wallet. It is separate from the Stripe business connection, which uses a business API key to access billing, payment and customer information. A Stripe business key does not connect your personal wallet.

Connect from your conversation

Ask Milo to connect your Link wallet in a private conversation. This connection uses a chat link rather than a standard card in the Connections directory. Open the link Milo provides and complete Link's own sign-in and approval flow. Check whose Milo the connection is for before approving it. Do not paste a card number, security code or Link password into chat.

Return to the conversation and wait for the connection result. Opening the sign-in page is not itself confirmation that the wallet connected. If the link expired or Link cannot be reached, follow the current message and request a fresh connection link when needed.

The wallet belongs to you; it is not a shared channel connection. Availability also depends on Link accepting your account and the connection flow completing.

Review the card and purchase

Once connected, Milo can identify available Link cards by their names, brand, last four digits and default selection. This does not expose the underlying card number in the conversation.

For a supported purchase, Milo prepares a request tied to the selected card, merchant and exact amount. Review the purchase in Link and complete its approval steps. A saved wallet or a connected card is not approval for a new purchase. Milo waits for a matching approved result from Link before proceeding.

Link approval and merchant completion are separate outcomes. Check the merchant's confirmation or order record before treating a purchase as complete or retrying an uncertain checkout. An unavailable Link connection does not authorize using another card instead.

End wallet access

Disconnecting Link ends the wallet connection; it does not cancel a purchase already completed with a merchant. Manage the wallet and its payment methods through Link, and use Disconnecting accounts for the distinction between stopping access and deleting existing records.
