Choosing Milo

Milo is Hexagon's AI teammate, provided by Hexagon Labs, Inc.

Choose Milo when you want help carrying a task from information to a result: a reply prepared from an email thread, a meeting brief grounded in documents, an updated calendar event, or a file ready for review. The useful question is whether Milo can access the sources and perform the specific actions your task needs.

Match Milo to the work

Your task What Milo can help with What you need
Email and follow-ups Read and organize email, draft replies, and send under your instructions. An authorized Gmail or Outlook connection with the required permissions. See Email and follow-ups.
Meetings and calendar Prepare a brief, find open time in an accessible calendar, and create or update events. The relevant source material, calendar access and a clear time zone. See Meetings and calendar.
Documents and presentations Find source files and prepare or edit documents, spreadsheets and slides. Supported file tools, access to the sources and the intended audience. See Documents and presentations.
Work in a browser Carry out a defined web task using the available browser or computer tools. Access to the relevant site and any required account session. See Browser and computer work.

A connected provider does not make every feature of that provider available. Check the specific action and permission your task requires.

Choose a starting point

For your own day-to-day work, start with Milo and connect only the accounts the first task needs. You can also talk to Milo on WhatsApp.

For a process that spans company systems, teams and shared decisions, plan an enterprise pilot. Identify the sources, responsible people, approval rules and success measure with Hexagon. Company Brain supplies company context within that configured offering.

Check the requirements that could rule it out

Confirm a required capability before building your workflow around it. For example, the Microsoft connection provides read-only access to SharePoint, and Milo in Teams does not receive meeting audio, video or transcripts through that integration.

Review privacy and data and security against your organization's requirements. For a deployment-specific requirement, ask Hexagon to confirm the available configuration.

If you only need writing from text you provide, compare the quality and cost of that output. If your task requires work in other apps, also compare the exact actions, permissions, review controls and completed result. A list of app logos is not enough to establish fit.

Try one task before expanding

Choose a task you already know how to check. Record the expected deliverable, supply the sources, and ask for a draft first. Check its accuracy, missing information and how much review it needs. Repeat with a second real example before handing over a recurring process. See Evaluate a workflow.

Review current plans and pricing before starting. The Starter trial ends after seven days or when its allowance runs out, whichever comes first. See Plans and usage for what happens next.
