Milo and Company Brain
Milo is the teammate you ask to do the work. Company Brain is the company context that supports work across people, tools and conversations.
They address different parts of the same task. Milo needs to understand the outcome you want. Company Brain helps supply the records, relationships and earlier decisions that matter to that outcome.
The parts of the system
| Part | What it contributes |
|---|---|
| Milo | Works on the request using available tools and information. |
| Connected knowledge | Brings relevant source information into the work. |
| Context graph | Connects facts to people, tasks and dependencies. |
| Decisions and memory | Preserves agreements, reasons, owners and limits. |
An example
Imagine asking whether a customer rollout can begin next week. A project document may contain the target date. A message may record the customer's required training. A later decision may require an operations review before launch.
A useful answer needs all three. It should explain whether training is complete, who owns the review, and whether next week is still a target or a confirmed commitment. Milo can then help prepare an update using that context.
