Disconnect an account
Disconnecting an account stops Milo's further access through that connection. It does not automatically delete your Hexagon account or information already stored while providing the service.
Use disconnection when you no longer want an account available to Milo. Use the applicable deletion process when you want stored personal information removed.
Before disconnecting
Identify which work uses the account. A routine, draft or ongoing task may depend on its mailbox, calendar or files. Review that work so a missing connection does not become an unexplained gap later.
If you use several accounts, confirm the provider and account address before changing access.
Manage provider access
For Google, you can disconnect inside Hexagon and review access in Google account permissions. Microsoft accounts can be disconnected inside Hexagon; a Microsoft administrator can also revoke permissions through Microsoft 365.
Removing Milo from a Google Chat space or Teams installation affects that messaging surface. It is separate from a Google or Microsoft account connection used for email and files.
Check the result
Review the connection state and any work that relied on it. If you reconnect later, read the current consent screen: the permissions requested may differ from your earlier connection.
Delete your account or request deletion
To delete your Hexagon account and associated data, open Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also email [email protected] to request deletion.
Account deletion removes or de-identifies associated data, except for limited records Hexagon must retain by law. Read the Milo privacy policy for the current retention and deletion details.
If you only want to stop a connected account's access, disconnect it instead. When contacting support, specify whether you want to stop access, remove an app or delete the account so the request reaches the right process.
