Open Milo

Google Workspace

Connect Google to let Milo work with the Google services you authorize. Hexagon shows the requested permissions through Google's own consent flow; the set can vary depending on how you connect.

Use the Google account that contains the information for your task.

Connect Google

  1. Open Connections in Milo and choose the Google connection.
  2. Sign in to the Google account that contains your mail, calendar or files.
  3. Read the requested permissions on Google's consent screen and authorize the access you want to grant.
  4. Return to Milo and try the document lookup below to check the account and access.

Use the account address shown by Google to confirm that you are connecting the intended work or personal account. If your organization blocks authorization, ask your administrator to review the request.

What the connection can support

Service Documented uses with permission
Gmail Read and organize messages, prepare replies and send under your instructions.
Calendar Read availability and create, move or update events.
Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides Find information and create or edit supported files.
Contacts Look up people and addresses with read-only access.

The connection supplies authorized access. Milo can use it through the tools enabled for your account; your request should identify the work you want performed.

Try a specific request

Find the project review document I used last week. Summarize its open questions and show me the source. Do not edit the document.

Confirm that Milo found the right file and account. If access is missing, review the permissions granted. An additional capability may require reconnecting through Google.

Control access

You can disconnect Google inside Hexagon or review and revoke access through Google's account permissions. Disconnecting does not automatically delete information already stored in Hexagon.

Google Chat has its own messaging behavior and optional permissions for sending as you. See Google Chat.

The application privacy policy explains Google data use and its Limited Use commitments. Review it for the current details of what is accessed, why, and how you can manage your information.
