Browser and computer work

Milo can work across apps and browser-based workflows using the computer tools available to your account. Some work can happen in its cloud computer; other jobs may use the Milo app or connected Chrome plugin.

Choose the surface that has the required access. A login in your own browser does not imply that a separate cloud browser has the same session.

Give a precise job

Prepare the customer form using the approved details in this document. Leave unknown fields empty and show me what still needs confirmation before submission.

Identify the site, source information and desired stopping point. If a task involves signing in, complete the appropriate account or provider flow rather than placing sensitive credentials into the task text.

Check preparation and submission separately

A filled form, prepared envelope or completed draft may still need review or submission. Ask Milo to distinguish those steps in its result.

Before a final action, inspect the recipient, amounts, selected options and any commitments. Milo asks for approval before payment.

Verify the destination

After an action, check the site's confirmation or resulting record. If the page timed out or the outcome is unclear, inspect the destination before trying again. A repeated submission can create a duplicate even when the first response was not visible.

For work in your own Chrome, see Use the Chrome plugin. That guide explains account matching and stopping browser work, including actions that may already have reached a site.
