Plans and usage

Milo has Free, Starter, Pro and Max plans. Free provides a one-time allowance; paid plans provide monthly usage. Check the current pricing page for prices and plan limits, and Settings → Usage for your account's remaining usage.

How the trial works

New accounts start with Starter at no charge and without a payment card. The trial ends after seven days or when its allowance runs out, whichever happens first. There is one trial per person.

If you have not chosen a paid plan, you then move to Free without a charge. Your account, history and settings remain. Trial usage is separate from Free's one-time allowance and from your first paid month's allowance.

What happens at the usage limit?

Your plan What happens when the allowance runs out
Trial The trial ends early. You move to Free unless you have chosen a paid plan.
Free The one-time allowance does not refill. A paid plan provides monthly usage.
Paid Starter or Pro Milo automatically moves you up a plan. The new price starts at your next renewal.
Max Usage pauses until the allowance resets.

Review Settings → Billing after a plan change so you know your plan and upcoming renewal. See Billing for when a plan selected during the trial is charged.

Understand your usage

Everything Milo does counts toward the allowance. The mix of work matters: a short answer, a document task and a multi-step workflow can consume different amounts.

The task counts on the pricing page are approximate alternatives, not separate quotas to add together. Starter, Pro and Max provide progressively more monthly usage and higher active-project limits. Projects you lead count toward your total; Pro and Max also support additional email inboxes.

Choose for your actual work

Compare your task volume, active-project needs and inbox requirements with the current plan details. Include the automatic upgrade behavior when planning paid Starter or Pro usage.

If work pauses or usage looks unexpected, check both Settings → Usage and Settings → Billing. For an enterprise agreement, confirm the applicable terms with the account owner or Hexagon.

See Troubleshooting for help with an interrupted task.
