Work with Milo in Slack

Milo's team workflows include working in Slack conversations. Availability depends on how Milo is configured for your team and the tools and knowledge it can access.

Use a channel conversation to make the shared task, audience and review visible to the people involved.

Give the team task context

@Milo prepare a draft of the customer presentation from the proposal and the notes in this conversation. Lead with the business case, include the training commitment, and list any unresolved dates for our review.

This example assumes Milo is available in the conversation and can access the required material. If a source is unavailable, provide an authorized link or ask the person responsible for the connection to help.

Refine one shared result

When reviewing a team deliverable, give specific changes and identify the section they affect.

Move training into the first phase. Keep the approved scope unchanged and update the related speaker notes.

Check that the revision preserves the rest of the team's decisions. A new suggestion should not silently replace an approved condition.

Consider the audience

Before asking for information to be posted in a channel, consider who can read it. A source available to one teammate may contain information unsuitable for a broader audience.

If Milo does not respond or cannot access a source, confirm that it is enabled for the relevant team and conversation. Installation permissions and availability are determined by your team's configuration; contact your administrator or Hexagon for the supported setup path.
