Tasks and outcomes
Give Milo a task by describing the result you need. A task can include several steps, such as reading source material, preparing a document and making an approved update in a connected system.
The result depends on the tools, information and permissions available to your account.
Define what done means
Compare two requests:
Look into the customer handoff.
Compare the signed proposal with the handoff notes. List missing commitments and their owners, then prepare a handoff summary for my review.
The second request makes completion visible. You can check whether both sources were considered, whether gaps were identified, and whether the summary is ready.
Distinguish preparation from completion
| Result | What to check |
|---|---|
| Draft prepared | Content is ready for review; delivery may still be pending. |
| Update requested | Confirm the target record and whether the change succeeded. |
| External action completed | Check the destination or confirmation associated with the action. |
| Work blocked | Identify the missing access, information or decision. |
These are review categories, not product status labels.
Continue with a clear next step
If Milo needs input, supply the missing fact or make the decision that unblocks the work. When a source is unavailable, provide an authorized copy or resolve the connection.
For ongoing goals, state the outcome, allowed actions and when you want to be involved. A goal such as improving follow-up needs more boundaries than a one-time summary. Agree on what counts as success before relying on repeated activity.
