Data Deletion Instructions

Hexagon respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data we hold about you, including eligible Meta/WhatsApp Platform Data and data processed through our WhatsApp commerce services operated by Hexagon Solucoes LTDA (CNPJ: 64.953.528/0001-68) in Brazil.

What data we may hold

Depending on how you interacted with a merchant powered by Hexagon, we may hold:

  • Your WhatsApp phone number and profile name
  • Delivery addresses provided during checkout
  • Order history, product selections, and transaction details
  • Conversational data exchanged through WhatsApp for order processing and support
  • Tokenized payment references (we never store raw card numbers)
  • Meta/WhatsApp setup data such as WhatsApp Business Account IDs, phone-number IDs, catalog IDs, templates, webhook events, message status metadata, and provider connection records
  • Merchant account, onboarding, catalog, support, billing, and integration records associated with your Hexagon account

How to request deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to [email protected] from the email address or including the WhatsApp phone number associated with your data. Please include the following so we can verify and locate your records:

  • The subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  • The WhatsApp phone number you used (in international format)
  • The name of the store or brand you interacted with, if known
  • The email address associated with your Hexagon account, if you are a merchant or dashboard user
  • Any relevant Meta Business Manager, WhatsApp Business Account, phone number, or catalog identifiers, if you are requesting deletion of merchant integration data

You do not need an account to request deletion. We will verify your identity before processing the request to protect your data.

What happens next

Once we verify your request, we will delete or anonymize eligible personal data from active systems as soon as practical, usually within 30 days. Some records may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from active systems, backups, and provider systems, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain records by law, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or legal-claim obligations. We will confirm by email once your request has been completed or explain any lawful retention exception that applies.

If your data was collected through a Meta product (such as WhatsApp), deleting it here removes it from Hexagon's systems. To manage data held by Meta directly, please use Meta's own account and privacy controls.

Meta and WhatsApp deletion requests

If Meta sends Hexagon a deletion request, or if you remove Hexagon's access to relevant Meta or WhatsApp assets, we will process the request in accordance with Meta Platform Terms, WhatsApp Business requirements, and applicable law.

If you are an end customer who messaged or purchased from a merchant through WhatsApp, the merchant may also hold transaction, support, tax, fulfillment, or customer-service records as the controller of your customer relationship. You may contact the merchant directly, or contact Hexagon and we will help route or process the request where appropriate.
