Salesforce
Connect Salesforce to give Milo context from the accounts, opportunities and contacts available to your Salesforce user. Your organization's permissions continue to govern which records and fields can be read or changed.
Connect the correct organization
Open Connections → Salesforce and complete Salesforce's authorization flow. Confirm the organization and user before approving access. If your administrator restricts connected apps or API access, have them review the connection through your normal company process.
Check a specific account or opportunity after connecting. A record link is useful when several customers have similar names.
Build an opportunity brief
Prepare a brief for the Example Company opportunity. Include its current stage, known contacts, recent activity and unresolved questions. Link the records and mark missing information. Do not update the opportunity.
For a requested update, identify the record and proposed fields. Ask for review before changes if that is your team's workflow. Do not infer a stage change solely from a meeting summary.
Organization limits
Salesforce access depends on the connected user's profile, permissions and sharing rules, as well as the app's grant. A working connection does not bypass a private record or restricted field.
If a record cannot be found, verify its organization and visibility before creating another. Disconnect or reauthorize when the user or organization's access changes.
