Bank

The Bank connection uses Plaid to connect an eligible financial institution. Milo can use the authorized balances and transactions to answer account-activity questions.

The Bank card appears only where this connection is available. Institution support and the accounts offered during setup depend on Plaid and your bank.

Connect through the provider flow

1. Open Connections and select Bank, if the card is available.
2. Follow the Plaid connection flow to choose your institution and authorize the accounts you want to share.
3. Complete any verification requested by your institution.
4. Return to Milo and check a known account or transaction.

Enter banking credentials only in the provider's connection flow, never in a message to Milo.

Ask about a bounded period

Summarize transactions for the account I just connected from Monday through Sunday. Show the currency and separate accounts. Tell me if some dates or transactions are unavailable.

A connection may return less history than the bank's own interface. Make the period explicit and review incomplete coverage before relying on a total.

Read-only access

This connection supports balance and transaction reads. It is not a payment or transfer setup. Reauthorization may be needed if the bank changes the connection or requests renewed consent. If your institution is not offered, do not assume another bank's connection will work for it.
