Clay

Connect Clay when your research is organized in tables, searches or enriched lists. Milo can use that context to help inspect a list and explain what is ready for the next step.

Connect the right account

Create a Clay API key under Settings → Account → API keys. In the Milo app, open Connections, choose Clay, and enter the key in the connection form. Check that the account can access the table you intend to use. Keep the key out of table cells, prompts and shared exports.

Give the table context

Review this company-research table. Identify rows missing the domain or target role, distinguish supplied facts from enrichment results, and propose a short cleanup plan. Do not launch another enrichment run.

Name the table and the relevant columns. Explain what a row represents and which fields matter to your decision; a column label alone may not explain the business rule behind it.

Check work before extending it

Inspect representative rows and the source of important enriched values. Blank fields, failed lookups and confirmed negative results are different states. The connection's tables-and-searches description does not establish every possible write or enrichment operation. Ask for a proposed change first when the task could modify records or start additional processing.
