Mercury

Milo's Mercury connection is for reading account activity. Use it to answer a specific question about balances or transactions, with a clear account and period.

Connect Mercury

Create a read-only API token in Mercury using an account authorized to provide that access. Open Connections → Mercury in Milo and enter the token in the connection form. Keep the token out of chat messages and shared documents.

After saving, confirm access with a known account or transaction. A connected status alone does not prove that the token reaches the data you need. If the read fails, review the token's permissions and account access; do not add payment permissions to resolve a read failure.

Review an account activity question

Show transactions from our operating account for last month, grouped by counterparty. Include the date range, currency and any limit on the transactions returned. Do not initiate payments.

Before using a total, check which accounts, currencies and transaction dates it includes. Ask for the underlying entries when a summary needs reconciliation.

Access boundaries

This connection is read-only and does not offer transfers or payment execution. It can only report the information Mercury makes available through the connected account. If a token expires or is revoked, replace it using the connection control.

Disconnect Mercury in Milo when the work no longer needs access. Revoking a credential and deleting information already retained are separate actions; see Disconnect an account.
