# Zendesk

Use ticket and user context from Zendesk in Milo.

Connect Zendesk to review support tickets and users with Milo. A focused ticket review can help you understand the latest customer request and prepare an answer without confusing an internal draft with a sent reply.

## Provide the connection details

Create a Zendesk API token under **Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk API**. Open **Connections → Zendesk** in the [Milo app](https://app.joinhexagon.com). The form asks for the token, the email used to sign in to Zendesk, and your Zendesk subdomain. For `your-team.zendesk.com`, the subdomain is `your-team`.

Enter these details only in the connection form, using an account authorized for the intended tickets. Do not include the token in chat or ticket comments.

## Prepare a ticket brief

> Summarize this ticket's latest request, what has already been tried and the questions still open. Include the source dates and draft a response for review without posting it.

Provide the ticket identifier when possible. Check which comments are internal before sharing a summary externally.

## Verify access and outcomes

A missing ticket may reflect account permissions or the wrong subdomain. Confirm those details before assuming it was deleted. The documented connection exposes tickets and users; it does not itself promise posting replies, resolving tickets or changing assignments.
