# QuickBooks

Review invoices, customers and items from your connected QuickBooks company.

Connect QuickBooks to make invoices, customers and items available to Milo. Start with a specific accounting question and identify the company and period so the result can be reconciled with the original records.

## Authorize QuickBooks

Open **Connections** in the [Milo app](https://app.joinhexagon.com), choose **QuickBooks**, and complete the Intuit authorization flow. Select the intended QuickBooks company and review the requested access. This connection uses provider authorization; do not paste your Intuit password or a guessed API key into chat.

Return to Milo and check the connection state before requesting company information. If authorization cannot complete, resolve the provider account access or the connection message rather than substituting another company's records.

## Review a bounded set of invoices

> Review invoices for this customer in the last complete month. Show the invoice identifiers, dates, currencies and reported balances. Flag records that need review without changing or sending anything.

Give the customer identifier when names could be ambiguous. An invoice balance and money received are separate facts; ask for the source of each conclusion.

## Keep the result traceable

Compare unusual totals with QuickBooks before using them in a report. The documented card covers invoices, customers and items. It does not promise payment execution, bookkeeping changes or every QuickBooks report merely because authorization succeeded.
