# Oura

Read Oura sleep, readiness and activity on demand with Milo.

Oura gives Milo on-demand access to your sleep, readiness and activity information. The Oura connection does not save its answers.

## Connect when available

Open **Connections** in the [Milo app](https://app.joinhexagon.com). If **Oura** is available for your account, choose it and complete Oura's authorization flow. Review the requested access and return to Milo to check the resulting connection state.

The card can be unavailable for an account. If you cannot connect, follow the current message or contact [support](https://joinhexagon.com/docs/troubleshooting.md).

## Use your private web or desktop conversation

Oura reads are unavailable through Slack, email, WhatsApp, iMessage, shared conversations and background or scheduled work. Open your own private conversation in the Milo web or desktop app to ask for the data. Connecting Oura does not make it available through every Milo channel.

## Ask a dated question

> Compare my recorded sleep, readiness and activity for the last seven complete days. Show the dates, identify missing days and keep the provider's scores separate from your interpretation.

Use a clear date range and make sure the ring's information has reached Oura before interpreting a missing day.

## Read the answer in context

This connection reads information when you ask and does not write changes to Oura. A device score is a reported measurement, not a diagnosis. If the source changes after synchronization, request a fresh comparison rather than treating a previous answer as permanent history.
