# Monday.com

Use Monday.com boards, items and updates for a clear status view.

Connect Monday.com so Milo can work with boards, items and updates visible to your account. Supply the board name or link and the columns that matter to your question.

## Connect Monday.com

Find your token under your Monday.com avatar menu: **Developers → My access tokens**. Enter it in **Connections → Monday.com** in Milo.

Confirm the connection with a board you recognize. The token uses the access available to its account, so private or restricted boards may be absent.

## Translate board data into a useful update

> Read the named delivery board. Group items by their current status and show the owner and target date. Identify items with no owner or date, and link the source items. Do not change the board.

Column names and status labels are customized by each team. Tell Milo which columns represent the owner, deadline or approval when their meaning is unclear.

## Be precise about edits

For a requested change, identify the board, item and column rather than only a status word. A proposed update should remain distinct from a provider-confirmed change.

API permissions, board sharing and provider limits govern the connection. If a report does not cover the full board, ask Milo to say so instead of presenting a partial result as complete.
