# HubSpot

Use HubSpot customer records to prepare account work and make specified updates.

Connect HubSpot to give Milo customer context from the CRM account you authorize. Accessible contacts, companies and deals can support account preparation and follow-up work.

## Authorize the CRM account

Open **Connections → HubSpot** and complete HubSpot's connection flow. Confirm the intended HubSpot account before approving access. Your role and the permissions granted to the integration determine which records and actions are available.

Verify the connection with a known company or deal. Use a record link or an exact name when multiple records could match.

## Prepare or update a record

> Find the open deal for Example Company. Summarize the current stage, next activity and missing information. Link the deal and draft a follow-up note for my review.

Milo can work with supported CRM records and notes when its grant permits it. For an update, state the record, field and new value. If you only want research, say that the records should remain unchanged.

## Keep customer context scoped

An authorized CRM read does not make every customer detail appropriate for a broad Slack channel or shared document. Name the destination and intended audience when asking Milo to reuse information.

Missing records may reflect account selection, ownership or permissions. Check those before creating a duplicate. A provider-confirmed update should be distinguished from a proposed note or draft.
