# Attio

Use Attio records, lists and notes in account research and CRM work.

Connect Attio to work with records, lists and notes that the authorized workspace exposes. Use a specific record or list as the starting point so Milo does not confuse similarly named people or companies.

## Connect Attio

In Attio, create an access token under **Settings → Developers → Access tokens**. Choose the permissions needed for your task. Enter the token in **Connections → Attio** in Milo, then ask for a known record to confirm the workspace and access.

## Make the output reviewable

> Read the companies in our named onboarding list. For each, show the current owner, latest note and next action where recorded. Link the records and leave missing fields blank.

For a change, specify which record and fields should change. Attio access can differ by token permissions, so a successful read is not proof that a requested update will be allowed.

## Avoid ambiguous matches

Use a record link, company domain or another reliable identifier when names overlap. Ask Milo to surface conflicting matches before editing. A list entry and its underlying company record can describe different aspects of the same customer; name which one you want changed.

Keep an outbound email or shared summary as a separate requested action. Connecting the CRM alone does not authorize distributing its information.
